In the fall of 2004, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund decided it was time to hear in depth from the grantee community—to systematically gather data about grantee perceptions of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) and their experiences working with us. To ensure objectivity, we engaged the Center for Effective Philanthropy to conduct confidential third-party surveys of our current grantees.
