Paul Taylor Dance Company Artistic Director Michael Novak and choreographer Amy Hall Garner will discuss Garner’s new commission for the Taylor Company and the stories, relationships, and experiences that have influenced her multi-faceted career. A sneak peek of Garner’s new choreography, featuring members of the Taylor Company, will follow.
Ms. Garner was co-commissioned by the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Miami City Ballet in 2020 to create ViVa, a dance film that brought together one dancer from each company to highlight their different hallmark styles. Her 2022 commission marks her first time working with the entire Taylor Company.
The Paul Taylor Dance Company will return to Pocantico on September 7 to close out the annual Culpeper Summer Performance Series. We look forward to welcoming a larger audience at that time. Tickets go on sale August 16!
