Princess Kablan was the grants management assistant at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. She provides administrative support for the Fund’s database and grants management.
Princess received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Brooklyn College. As an Andrew W. Mellon and CUNY Pipeline fellow, she conducted research on residents living in Brooklyn public housing. Her thesis Public Housing: Is the American Dream Fulfilled While Living in NYCHA investigated materialistic influences and differing measures of success within residents’ perspectives on the American Dream. Outside of her studies, she spearheaded community outreach programming as a lead ambassador for SEEK, which provides academic and financial support to students of color throughout their college experience.
